Set Sent Items Restriction to read in shared mailbox RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

People are using shared mailbox along with full access.

Now the requirement is some user should only read sent items alone.

I have provided access but unable to map in outlook.

could you show some lights here.

    outlook 2010/Exchange 2010/Exchange 2016.

    thanks,

    Venkat

  • Hi Venkat,

As far as I know, no way to only open another mailbox's sent items folder in outlook, you can open some shared folders by others, such as Inbox/Calendar/Notes/Tasks/Contacts/Journal, but no Sent Items folders.

If you want to access another mailbox's sent items, you must have full access permission on the mailbox.
