Track Changes and Comments Preservation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to preserve track changes when a document has been sent for review?

We want to preserve everyone's document edits and comments so that when  people make edits they don't delete other people's comments, until  the author agrees to.

    Thank you,

    John

  • You could apply document protection as follows: On the Review tab, click Restrict Editing. In the task pane, select "Allow only this type of editing in the document"; in the drop down, choose "Tracked changes." Click the Yes, Start Enforcing Protection button (specify a password if you want to).
