  • Question

  • Dear All,

We have an requirement to share Calendars between 2 Org. One of  the Entity is in Office 365. So we need to establish  the federation trust between  them

One of the Entity has Exchange 2013 On premises

From Office 365 end federation trust has been established. Now we tried creating the federation trust from Exchange 2013 end from ECP, when i click on enable and when it tries to connect the Microsoft federation gateway i get the below error

    Exchange Error:

Unable to access the Federation Metadata document from the federation partner. Detailed information:

"The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.".

I am doing this for first time , anything i am missing on please guide.

  • Federation trust only need port 443, do you have enough permission to configure federation trust? are all other pre-requisites in place?
