  • What collation is used?
Why installing CM 2012 now. CM CB is the most current Version.

  • Additionally, is the account you are using a local admin on the system hosti8ng the SQL instance as well as a sysadmin in that instance?

Also, when posting information from a log file, simply extracting a couple of words or errors is almost always useless; please also post complete, relevant, and unedited snippets of the log file.

And, as Torsten noted, ConfigMgr 2012R2 is about 4 years old now and has been superseded by ConfigMgr Current Branch.

  • Hi,

    "Required SQL Server Collation         Failed"

please make sure your SQL Server Collation is "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS".

    SQL Server sysadmin rights            Failed

Did you use a remote SQL Server?
If so, you need to add the SCCM computer & user account to the SQL Server local administrators group.
