Can't activate MS Project 13 "Sorry we can't connect to your account. Please try again" RRS feed

  • I've installed MS project 2013 but when it asks me to activate the product using my account name and password, it says "Sorry we can't connect to your account. Please try again". The trial period has expired and now I can't use the product that I purchased. I've called the help desk but waited hours and didn't get anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this issue and how did it get resolved?
