Skype For Business and Exchange Server 2013 Integration RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have two Skype For Business site with two SFB Pool in pool pairing relationship. We have created trusted application pool(under Pool01) to integrate with Exchange Server 2013.Everything is working fine, presence is visible for all users but when any Pool02 user login into IM though OWA, he is able to send message but does not get any reply.

Do we need to open any specific port between Exchange CAS server and Pool02 Servers as there is Firewall between both sites.

Sender gets error : "When contacting your support team, reference error ID 504 (source ID 239)"

There is no event log into the server related to this issue.

Any suggestion to fix this issue will be appreciated.

  • Hi James,

    Welcome to our forum.

We want to double confirm that this issue just occur when we login SFB though OWA, and not occur when user login SFB using SFB client directly.

If this issue also occur when user login SFB using SFB client directly, please make sure SFB Edge server could be resolve the FQDN of internal front end. Or try to use different browsers to have a try.

For troubleshooting this issue, we could also enable log on SFB client, then post the related log to us.

For Exchange integrate with SFB, please refer to the following link to have a check:

  • Hi Akampa,

We configured just for Pool01 site, not for Pool02. As per my knowledge as this is in same topology it should work for both pool.Although Presence is visible for both Pool users.

This is happening only when Pool02 user login into IM via OWA. There is no issue with Normal Client login.
