Hide EPTs from Ribbon RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

    Is there a way of hiding some EPTs from the New Project menu under the ribbon.

    (ı would be happy if it doesn't involve devlopment/code)

  • If you never plan to use the OOB EPTs, you can just go ahead and delete them. Make sure you select a new default EPT if you publish projects from Project Pro and you want them to inherit a specific template/workflow.

    Otherwise, you can rely on departamental filtering.

  • Hi there--

    Agreed with Catalin. Another alternate, if you are only using the MS project pro to create projects, You can hide the "New " button on Project center ribbon using the Javasrcipt (few lines of code ) . get the element by ID for "Ribbon.ContextualTabs.ProjectCenter.Home.Editing.NewProject-Large" & set the property as

    style.display = "none";

    Hope that helps.
