Timesheet Approval Date RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We're looking for a way to view the date a timesheet was approved by the approver? Is it possible to view this information in MSP?

    Many thanks,

  • Hi,

First of all, are you working with Project Server or Project Online?

Using the timesheet modified date for approved timesheets would give you the approval timestamp for the timesheet.

Then it is just a matter of creating a custom report using SSRS, Excel service, PowerBI depending on your version and technology.

You can see below an example from the timesheet audit table on Project Server 2007 which could be a good starting point. If using Project Online, you could retrieve easilly the timesheet modified date with odata feed.

    Hope this helps,

  • Many thanks Guillaume, we're using Project Server 2013.

Is it possible to be able to view this timesheet modified field within Project Professional 2013 rather than a report?

  • Hi,

No this is not an information you can access natively through MS Project Pro.
