Is there any way to check the status of mailbox migration status from Exchange 2007? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are moving the mailboxes from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 using .ps script.

Is there any way to check the status of mailbox migration from Exchange 2007 machine?

I know there are shell commands / EMC/ Perfom in Exchange 2010 but what about Exchange 2007.

I want to see the status from Exchange 2007.

  • Hi

All the moves are managed from the 2010 side and there is no interface on the 2007 server that can interpret this information.  You can connect to Exchange 2010 using remote powershell from your PC if that would help.

  • All the mailboxes will be moved to Exchange 2010 if you migration successful. Only Exchange 2010 can verify weather it works or not, Exchange 2007 cannot.
