Microsoft Project Standard 2013 Crashes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I have been using Microsoft Project for at least 10 years using first 2003 version and now 2013. I have the program loaded on 1 stand alone computer which can be used to access our file server for storage.

Recently when working on schedules which were created a few months ago and I attempt to update task progress percentages in the Task Information  pull down menu, the program displays a note saying that "Project has stopped working and a problem caused the program to stop working"

    Can you help with this?

I can confirm the behavior you are seeing using Microsoft Project 2013 64-bit with the latest Service Packs and Cumulative Updates installed.  I believe what you are seeing is a bug, but do not have any idea if and when it will be fixed.  The workaround would be to set the % Complete using the task Tracking table instead.  I have confirmed that the workaround does work as needed.  Hope this helps.
