  • Question

  • Earlier today, I uploaded some photos onto my notebook (ASUS K53U) and I think some of them must have been corrupted or something because it was during this time (during the uploading) that my Internet Explorer started saying there were problems.

So, I did a run SFC/ scannow and it threw up some errors:

I literally have no clue what these messages mean? Nor do I have any clue as to how to go about fixing them? I deleted all the photos off my notebook that I uploaded earlier as I thought they were causing the problems. But when I do the sfc /scannow the problems are still there.

I don't have the original Windows 7 CD as Windows 7 came pre-installed on my notebook. Please tell me there is a way of fixing these issues without having to reinstall or do any of that kind of thing! No CD's came with this notebook!!! HELP!!!!!! Thanks!

P.S. Just want to say that things seem to be working fine all the time even with the errors. My internet explorer isn't causing me problems (from what I can see). I haven't tried to upload any more photos yet as I am afraid that's what caused the problem. I wonder is it possible that my computer can run perfectly well with those issues that cropped up in the sfc/ scannow? Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

You may try to copy PINTLGB.IMD to IME folder. Also, please search with the keyboard PINTLGB.IMD in folder WinSXS to replace the existing files.

Note: back up files before replacing them.

If the solution above does not work, please contact your manufacturer to ask for a Windows Installation Disk.
