SCSM restrict User role to only view incidents for certain support group RRS feed

  • Dear all,

    I'm trying to set up a user role that is restricted to view only the incidents that have the "support group" field set to for example "Tier 1"
    Whenever I select "Provide access to only the selected queues" and mark that specific queue, it fails to show the incidents for this support group. When I select "All work items can be accessed", this support group will see all incidents.

    When I change the queue to filter on another field than the "Support Group", such as the "Classification Categorie", the User Role restriction works.

    I don't want to use views, as I have other issues with that.



    Anyone?

  • Sorry,

    Looks like the scsm server was acting up. After a reboot of the scsm server and restarting the remote consoles, all works fine.
