Reporting on custom columns created in a Project Site RRS feed

    We have added some new SharePoint columns to our Project site/Lists/Risks.  As I understand it these added columns which are not "out of the box" will not appear in the ReportingDB.

    I am creating an excel report using data from the Reporting DB and need to add content from these custom fields.

    Firstly, can you confirm non "out of the box" SharePoint columns do not appear in the Reporting DB (I certainly can't find them in there!) and secondly can you suggest a way to show custom SharePoint column data within my Excel 2010 report.  I would like to pull the data from all projects so will need the custom column data plus the project name.
