  • MICROSOFT OFFICE PROFESSIONAL 2010 COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED FROM DESKTOP (I.E., ICON, LIST IN PROGRAMS) AND THEN, MS WORD BECAME INACTIVE.  BOUGHT PROGRAMS DECEMBER 2010. CANNOT RELOAD-REACTIVATE EITHER.  ATTEMPT PROVIDES ERROR 1321. HAVE ACTIVATED PROGRAMS TWICE (SECOND TIME INTO NEW COMPUTER).

ANY SOLUTIONS?  I CANNOT MAKE CONTACT WITH A "REAL" PERSON AT MSFT AND HAVE BEEN IN A FRUTRATING CYCLE - PHONE FOR ADVICE, SEND ME TO WEBSITE.  THEN, WEBSITE REFERS ME TO PHONE - HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THREE WEEKS.

  • Hi Philip,

For the 1321 error, see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925755

Once you've resolved that, try repairing your Office installation via 'Programs & Features' in the Windows Control Panel. If that doesn't work, the safest approach at this satge would be to uninstall Office (via 'Programs & Features'), then reinstall it.
