  • Hi. Can you please post some further details about these event ids that are being logged. Has it ever worked or have the problems just started?

  • Hi Ramiro A.Herrera,

    1. Where do the WSUS 2012 download updates from, upstream WSUS server or Microsoft Update?

    2. Please check what updates are you downloading, common updates or upgrades?

    3. Also check if there is event 364, if yes, check the details to find the failure reason;

    4. Check the network connection between the WSUS server and the Source update server.

    5. Try restarting BITS services and WSUS server, check if it could help.

    Best Regards,

    Anne

  • Hello, the problem apparently started after update 3159706, but the procedure has already been applied https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3159706/update-enables-esd-decryption-provision-in -wsus-in-windows-server-2012-and-windows-server-2012-r2, the WSUS cleanup option has been run, but we continue with the inconvenience these events appear and the console is disconnected.

  • Hi, I have the same problem with you about the sync failure problem.

    It's the firewall(S).  Shut them ALL down (Norton, Windows firewall and your physical firewall) first and try again.  You will have it sync without problem.

    Then activate the firewall with suitable ports as stated in the deployment guide.

    Hope it helps!

  • I'm having a similar problem with WSUS on Windows 2016.  I have error 10032 and also, sometimes, error 364.  The 364 error has the following text:

    This is a new install of WSUS. There was a previous WSUS server (windows 2008 R2), but I've stopped the services on that server so they shouldn't be interfering.  The WSUS URL certainly exists on the new server, so I'm not sure what URL "does not exist." I assume it can't reach the URL at the Windows update site.  Some updates are downloaded, but there are also many that aren't. There's no firewall filter in place that would block Windows updates. The folder referred to in the error message is there, but it's empty.

    TIA for any help. I've been working on this for a number of days and just can't seem to figure out what's going on.
