Update Any FIM 2010 R2 Resource in Workflow through Custom Activity RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I have created a custom activity to Update any FIM 2010 R2 Portal Resource.

    Please follow the link below

    http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/FIM-2010-R2-Custom-bd3a9a32

you can download the DLL and use it without any warranty.

It runs a powershell command in the background to update the any portal resource.

It takes the ObjectID (ResourceID) for the resource to be updated, the attribute you want to update and the value for the attribute.

Please fele free to use and comment.

    Thanks

  • Hi Adi

In the Workflow if your User is the Target, you can simply get the Current Date and Time according to the below specified format into a workflow parameter and then in the next activity you can use the function evaluate activity to move the workflow parameter in any of the user's datetime attribute.

    Format: yyyy-MM-ddThh:mm:ss.fff

currently adding days using this workflow activity is not supported. You can create your own custom workflow activity that does this.
