  • Hi,

    Please try the below steps:
    1. Go to “Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Biometric Devices” and Click: Change Biometric Settings.
    2. Click both “Allow users to log on to Windows using their fingerprints” and “Allow users to log on to a domain using their fingerprints” and restart the computer.

    3. Click: 'Switch user' at the log on screen and choose the fingerprint icon (this of course requires you to first have added a set of fingerprints to your account).
    4. Swipe your finger. The screen remained active with the fingerprint icon and a password field.
    5. Now type your password and you are logged on. Now restart your computer and check if the issue persists.
