  • here is what I have heard from AudioCodes

    1.1.1         Backup CCE

The CCE components are installed on virtual machines (VM) in Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisor. Customer should create periodically checkpoint for those VMs to external storage (SAN/NAS). The VHDs and snapshots are located on CCE Host Machine in  C:\cce\appliance\Instances\ path.

The CCE configuration  is stored on C:\cce\appliance\CloudConnector.ini on every CCE Server.  This configuration should be saved on external storage.

The CCE Site information is stored on C:\cce\site path on the first Installed CCE.

This Folder should be saved on external storage. As simple alternative the Site folder could be saved on the second CCE Server (if available).

    1.1.2         Restore CCE

In case of Hardware failure and need to replace the unit:

Run the CCE Wizard at the CCE general information page, set the site path and load the CloudConnector.ini

Go through CCE Installations and restore above store files.

  • Hi Ajit,

If you want to do the Audiocodes Mediant CCE Appliances backup, I suggest you could contact your provided to ask how to do it.

In addition, based on my research, if you want to do the CCE backup, there’s no way to backup the whole CCE. It is quite easy to do a rollback, more details about this you could refer to Understanding Cloud Connector Update. You could also refer to this blog to find more details about Understanding Cloud Connector Edition Auto Recovery.
