Lync 2010 (RC) - How to Connect to ITSP SIP PSTN RRS feed

  • Question

  • Good day,

Yes, I'm a noob to Microsoft OCS/Lync.  Forgive my ignorance.  My first attempt has been somewhat successful thus far with Lync 2010 (RC).  I have followed the deployment guides provided to get a Standard Edition server setup and two PCs communicating using the Lync Client.

I now want to send/receive calls with the PST.  I know a gateway needs to be configured, but am unable to locate documentation or a walkthrough on the process.  I understand each scenario will be different, but I'm trying to dumb it down as much as possible.

I have a single SIP trunk provisioned by an ITSP, complete with a configuration example for Asterisk.  However, I do not understand how to configure the Lync server.

My server has two physical NICs installed.  One connected directly to the Internet (intended for SIP termination) and the other connected to my LAN.

I am willing to read if someone can direct me to the documentation.

    Many thanks,
