Dismiss/Resolve will something in the same type/device alert again RRS feed

  • Let's say we have some service account alerts for an account test123. If we choose dismiss/resolve, and then the same account and/or same resources are continuing the bad behavior will new alerts be generated or once dismissed/resolved they are ignored.

  • Resolved means that you should have fixed the issue that triggered the alert. If it occurs again, a new/updated alert is triggered.

    Dismissed means that you are aware of the triggering problem and you do not want to see similar alerts again.

    Note that you can always go to a dismissed alert and change the status (to Open or Resolved) if you change your mind at a later time.

  • The real issue is I can't export my service accounts exposing creds using excel.  It spins and then the link it provides is not the xlsx file.   Other alerts export fine.  I was looking at a way to clean it up.  I'll use the resolve to have them alert again.  Thanks
