Setting up a DPM 2010 report via DMS script RRS feed

  • Question

  • One of our client's DPM servers refuses to send reports when they are set up through the GUI. We've spent enough time trying to get that working, and we've followed other peoples' advice on Technet without success. Something is just off about this system, I suppose. I'm wondering which of the DPM PowerShell commands would be useful for creating a text file report that is similar to the information I could get by looking at the Protection tab in the GUI, or that could give me the status of the protection groups for the last 24 hours.

  • Are you looking for something like this:

    Protection Group A
        Computer 1
            <data source 1>                     <Status>
            <data source 2>                     <Status>
            <data source 3>                     <Status>

    Protection Group B
        Computer 2
            <data source 3>                     <Status>
            <data source 4>                     <Status>
