    Hi, is it possible to have downward scrolling of the text at a pre-selected rate in Word? I suppose that this could be activated by some command in Word that exists or maybe one needs to create a VBA macro.

    I want to be able to read music lyrics or a partition in a continuous fashion without having to touch a mouse or the screen.

    Press the mouse wheel / middle mouse button. The mouse pointer should change.

    Move the mouse pointer slightly down, and the document will start to scroll. The further you move the mouse pointer down from the original positio, the faster the scrolling. When you've found a comfortable speed, you can release the mouse button.

    Any key press or mouse click will end the scrolling.
