Dreamscene stops playing in background RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've downloaded the dreamscene update, and I thinks it's a nice idea, althought it would be good if there was a setting that would allow you to turn of the sound (ie if you play a music video, or movie in the background). My problem is that I use dualscreen and when I start an application (any application at all) the dreamscene movie stops playing, and freeze until all windows are minimized or closed. WHY?!

I want to enjoy my video at the other screen while working on my primary display (or vice versa).

Is there a fix for this or is this just how it is supposed to behave? Why use video if it doesn't play unless your only looking at the desktop?

  • I think they want you to finish whatever your doing without distracting you so that's why it stops.

  • Same problem here. I use two monitors and every time I maximize a window the video stops playing in both screens. Annoying.
