    Hi

     

    I have a customer who is interested in running App-V on WEPOS. According to information on TechNet, the App-V Client can only be deployed to the following Operating Systems:  Windows XP Pro w/SP2, Windows XP w/SP3, Windows Vista RTM/SP1 (Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate)

     

    So I am looking for more information, if maybe someone knows if MS have plans to support this in the future?

    Last I heard there are no plans to support any Windows Embedded devices.  THat was several months ago, so I will check and get back with you on an official word.

    Usually Embedded versions of XP (and Vista?) have several system components removed from them to save space. This most likely plays badly with low-level components that App-V has in the client. OTOH, XPe, if not stripped, is same as XP Professional but more modularized.

     

    And it's not supported platform anyways.
