DPM Job Waiting for Tape

Question
-
Hi all, i have a question:
I have to make a full backup to LTO, and figure this message:
This is the IT infraestructure:
- DPM 2016
- IBM TS3200 Tape Library
I went to the protection group on DPM, and did a "Create a recovery point" (long term protection). The job start, and write on LTO:
After a hours, the job is paused becaue it need a new tape (its a big shared folder), and figure this message and event when i try to continue the job:
"Copy job is paused because the required tape Free Tape is not available in the library Stand Alone Drive Tape Library IBM ULT3580-HH6 SCSI Sequential Device. (ID 3315)"
"Insert the tape with label Free Tape in the library through the I/E port or by unlocking the library door. Click "Continue Job" in the Details section of this alert, if you add the required tape without using the Add tape (I/E port) or Unlock Door actions on the Library tab in the Management task area."
Status: Active
Stand Alone Drive Tape Library : IBM ULT3580-HH6 SCSI Sequential Device
Description: Job requires tape that is not available in the library (ID: 3315)This is the library resume:
Why show this message, if the backup is to the LTO, an not to the Stand-alone drive?
Must i unlock it?
Thanks¡¡

Finally i could continuw with the job.
I move the latest source media to the drives 1 and 3, and the job is running again.
Some suggestion for best practices?
Thanks in advanced.

Hi Marcos.
I have just stumbled on your post whilst looking for a solution for myself and thought I may be able to help.
It looks to me as though your tape library and drives are not set up correctly. If you are using a library, the drives shouldn't be appearing as stand alone drives, but as drives which appear under the library when you expand it in the console.
I had a few issues setting up our libraries initially where this happened and I needed to use the generic Microsoft drivers for the tape drives and the vendor specific drivers for the Medium Changer devices (in my case an IBM TotalStorage 3573 Tape Library for the TL2000 we use).
This would hopefully then ensure your large tape job would span automatically onto two tapes without manual intervention.
