  • hi every one i want to block website via GPO in server AD 2008  can any one help me in this regard, Internet Explore Maintenance also missing from GPO. please help me

  • Internet Explore Maintenance also missing from GPO. 

    Hi

    Any settings that you previously configured with IEM will no longer work on computers where Internet Explorer 10 or newer is installed, regardless of the Windows version it’s been installed on. You must update your settings using Group Policy Preferences, Administrative Templates (.admx), or the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK).Then you will see that option

  • you can't do this now. you need a dedicated filtering appliance or 3rd party software

  • Best way would be use of proxy servers...like ISA/forefront.etc. Ever, there many open source UTMs are available...(Untanlge, Endian..)

    You would then configure the IE clients to use the proxy of your device.
