Office Software Protection Platform Service - slowing down PC RRS feed

  • hi all,

    all my windows 7 users are complaining that office applications keep hanging for approx. 5 minutes then they un hanf and work fine.

    I have found the following event in the event log which seems to co inside with the times the users say the applications are hanging

    Im not sure what this means and im not sure where to start. Please can anyone help?

    Does the issue occur when use all Office App like work, excel? Does it occur with other programs?

    I suggest to perform these tests to troubleshoot the issue:

    1 Reinstall Office

    2 Logon with Clean Boot

    3 If Windows 7 PC is in domain, temporary disjoin the domain to see if the same issue occurs.

    If the issue persists, since the issue specially occur with Office, you can contact Office Forum for further help:

    These are events associated with SPPSVC service startup (event id 900) and shutdown (event id 903).  We will need more info on the environment to be of any use.
