    Hi All,

    Currently we have an issue with app-v 5.0. Problem: We created a connection group in our SCCM server 2012 and unfortunately it was deleted after 3000 clients received the package and were working. We quickly recreated the connection group however now we are "realizing" that SCCM doesnt just allow the connection to continue after its deleted. It instead says sorry that's not the same (Because its resolving using GUID) and because its different shows clients as broken.

    We have got around this by re-installing the SCCM client totally but really that's not a good fix. IS THERE anyway we can run a script and detect broken connection groups and repair them using a script?? Or has anyone out there written one that you guys know about. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Craig,

    I followed you up until "doesnt just allow the connection to continue after its deleted. It instead says sorry that's not the same".

    Can you elaborate on this? What exact error messages are you seeing? Please look in event viewer, virtualapp.log and appenforce.log...

    Hi Thamin, thanks for your reply. We can repair the issue, really I guess what im looking for is how to detect if there is a broken connection group on a workstation and if detected how to repair it.
