Assigning group permissions across multiple sites

Question

Hi, I have three separate sites which have a common set of users who need access to all three. Is there a way I can create a group in site A and then grant that group access to sites B and C without the need to add each individual group name to all three sites?

Di Hughes,
Just create 3 groups in root site collection and provide site permission to those groups. By default those group users will have permission to view all sub sites which under root site collection.
If you don't want to provide permission to those groups in root site collection. Please following the below steps
1. Just create 3 groups in root site collection
2. Go to each sub sites A, B and C
3. Go to site settings -> site permissions
4. Break inheritance from parent and set unique permissions
5. Click grant permissions and add those three groups.

Hi Di Hughes,
If the three sites are in different site collections, you need to create group in each site for granting permissions.
If the three sites are in the same site collection, you can create the group in top level site and do not need to create group in each site.
