Outlook Problems on Office 365 Subscription RRS feed

  • Question

  • Why am I unable to move some emails from my Inbox to individual folders I've created.  Also, I am unable to delete some folders and cannot move any folders into other folders.  This is very, very problematic and I cannot get an answer in other forums.

  • Hi,

    Welcome to our forum.

Are you using Outlook desktop client with a Office 365 email account? If so, please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.

Is there any detailed error message when the issue occurs? If there is, please provide me with it. Besides, can you move/delete emails on your web mail?

    >>unable to move some emails from my Inbox to individual folders I've created.

Do these emails have anything in common?Such as same sender.. attachments.

In this situation, please try clicking File > Options > Search. Choose just the 'Current Folder" under the "Include results only from." > OK > Reopen your Outlook client and see if there is any difference.

If the issue persists, there could be some add-ins in your Outlook client that cause this issue, so it is suggested to start your Outlook in safe mode (Press Win + R, type “outlook /safe”, press Enter.) and see if the issue continues.

    Hope this can be helpful.

    Regards,

    Aidan Wang
