DPM - Incorrect StartTime for Scheduled Jobs RRS feed

  • Question

  • Team,

With most that have used SC - Data Protection Manager, we have felt the built-in reporting lacking. We decided to search around for available summarization reports to better detail the backup tasks, etc, etc. In that search we discovered this widely used community report found: http://www.buchatech.com/2014/04/free-dpm-backup-summary-report/

Everything went smoothly importing, but when running the report we found the Created column displaying the incorrect time; off-set +4 hours as shown below:

*At the time of this image, it was 1.17PM EST

We then searched through the report, stripping away the SQL Query, located the table via the inner join responsible for the Created column which shows:

We checked the Windows Time on the Application Server, Database Server and respective Client servers all to find them set properly for Eastern Standard. At this point I am at a loss to explain how the time is logged in the database incorrectly while presented properly in the DPM GUI, Quantum i40 Scalar appliance, and the Server OS.

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help!
