  • Question

  • I have recently seen this file time stamp change when my computer was turned off. How can a file time stamp change if it was tuned off?

    Thanks in advance!

  • How could you see it change if your computer was not on? :)

Rescache is part of the MUI and its runtime diagnostics. These are heavily instrumented in the Beta and RC of 2008 R2 but also exist in previous OS's. You can read more about it here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb688098.aspx. Having files change in there is expected.
