    "UNABLE TO ACCESS FULL RAM CAPABILITIES. I HAVE 2 GIGS INSTALLED AND IT READAS 1.96 OF 2.00 AVAILIBLE. AND VARIOUS OTHER ISSUES THAT ILL ASK AT A LATER TIME?"

  • Most likely the "lost" RAM is allocated to hardware on the MB such as on-board video, or it could be a BIOS setting.  Windows only reports what the hardware is telling it, it has no control over the reported amount and there is nothing you can do in Windows to increase the amount of RAM reported by the MB!
