WHY DOESN'T "APPEND" ACTUALLY APPEND DATA? RRS feed

    I've been trying to figure out how to ACTUALLY append data using Power Query. Each month, I pull an Excel report from a 3rd party system and want to upload that data into my PowerPivot model using Power Query. I want to add data to tables I already have in Excel, not overwrite. I thought "Append" would do this, but it doesn't. It just seems to combine two different tables, I just want to add to one I already have. I'm going to be doing this each month for 6 or so tables, so hopefully this won't require me to save data in multiple places across my workbook. 

    Can anyone help????
