Read only access to mailbox RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are running Exchange 2007 SP3 and Outlook 2007 SP2.

We have some shared mailboxes that we would like some users to have 'read only' access to.

    Is this possible?

  • Hi,

According to your requirement, you can give every folder reviewer permission. Except it, there is no way to give just read-only access on a mailbox in Exchange natively. But you can use PFDAVAdmin tool to achieve it, which you can refer to the link:

    Hope it helps.

Only by managing the folder permissions within the mailbox. If they
have "Full Mailbox Access" they own the mailbox when it comes to
    access.
