Stuck with Error 0x800B0101 -- Plzzz Help guys RRS feed

  • So I have my new gaming laptop which is Asus ROG Strix Scar II edition (8th gen Core i7, 32 GB RAM with nVidia RTX 2060) for last one month which had windows 10 Home edition from the store. I wanted to use Windows 10 Pro though. So the store guys told me that I can replace the windows edition anytime I want. After little more than a month, I decided to switch to Windows 10 Pro (64 bIT) as it offers some additional stuffs I needed. <o:p></o:p>

    Everything seemed ok. All the hardware and software running fine. But there is a software - Asus ROG Armoury Crate which is sort of performance regulating software for the gamers for saving differing profiles which is integrated with the RGB lighting of the unit. <o:p></o:p>

    The installation files can be downloaded from ROG sites. But I can't open it as it shows some sort of Error 0x800B101 issue after the very first click of the setup process.<o:p></o:p>

    I am getting frustrated as i dont know what to do. That software is really important. Plus i am not seeing any easy step to overcome the situation. I tried downloading the installation files many times but no result. Is there anyway to fix it ? Soliciting your assistance plz.<o:p></o:p>

    Please check the following methods and check if it helps: 

    1. Run Program Compatibility Troubleshooter:

    Settings> Update& Security> Troubleshoot> Program Compatibility Troubleshooter

    2. We can run SFC /scannow command to scan the integrity of operating system files.
