SharePoint 2013 | Unable to send emails. RRS feed

  • Hello All, 

    I have a SharePoint environment with (DEV/Stage/PROD) and we are using the same smtp server in each of the environment and it is working fine in two environment but facing issue in one environment. 

    In event log, getting the below error message 

    Event ID: 7946

    Source: SharePoint Foundation

    Cannot complete this action. Please try again.

    In ULS, getting the below

    Tried the below however still facing the same issue

    - Verified telnet is working fine from the problematic server to the smtp server

    - Tried to ping the smtp server name and IP address from the problematic server and was able to get the ping response. 

    - In outgoing email setting on CA, updated the IP address of the smtp server and then tried to send email however still the same issue. 

    Have already followed the steps mentioned in the below article but still no luck.
