Recent Folder list lost RRS feed

  • Question

  • Yesterday, after the start of o.s windows 7 home premium x86, with the mouse right button I clicked on the jumplist, I noticed that the list was empty.

By the first day I buyed the Pc this folder usually memorized every kind of file I recently opened.

Now the list is empty; I never delete these recent files.

Using a previous restore point can I restore the old jumplist?

Can you help me to solve the matter?

  • Hi,

As you have not done any obvious operation to cause this issue, you could try system restore for a test, if this does not help, you could undo the system restore.

Meanwhile, I would like to confirm if you disabled jump list feature without your attention:

    1. Right-click on the Taskbar. Select properties.

    2. Click on the Start Menu tab and make sure option "Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar" is selected.
