  • Hi IDON'TWANTWINDOWS10,

The Windows 10 free upgrade will end on 7/29/2016. We could try to upgrade to Windows 10 before this date to enjoy Windows 10 for a while and it is available to revert back to Windows in 30 days as Cyber_Defend_Team pointed out.

If you insisted on disabling Windows 10. Here is a link for reference:

Uninstall KB3035583 and hide this kb. Add the following registry key.
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
    DWORD value: DisableOSUpgrade = 1
    HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Gwx
    DWORD value: DisableGwx = 1

    Best regards

  • I am wondering why you don't want to try Windows 10?

There is free upgrade offer until end of this month and once it over, you need to purchase license for Windows 10 and there is no more free upgrade offer.

However, if you upgrade to Windows 10, you have about 30 days to move back to Windows 7 (in case you don't like it).

In addition, in the same menu you should have cancel button.
