Installing Printer: Received Error 0x000003eb RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been trying to install a printer and keep getting this error:  0x000003eb

I have an HP Color Laser Jet CP5225n.  At some point (don't ask me how) I got the printer installed.  Windows recognized it but when I tried to print, it said the printer was NOT installed.  At that point, I uninstalled the printer and don't know how to proceed.  Help!

  • Hi,

We can use USB connect to printer, then power on printer, Windows will auto-recognize this device because Windows contain universal printer driver.

Moreover, if you have set IP address for printer, you can open Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers, then Add a printer to connect to printer and install driver.

If this issue persists, please try to reset printer default setting and try again.
