Resource Availability view from "Working/Unpublished Version" of schedules RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi team,

need help in having a view where we can see the availability of resources.

for published version of data , I use resource center in pwa to get this info.

any idea if we can configure pwa to pull the data from" unpublished/working" version of projects".

If the above isn't possible, any reliable way other than creating a master project which includes all su projects and use resource usage view?

Some one suggested using " load summary assignments" when opening gone file, however it's not reliable....

    regards,

    lakshmi

Only published data informs availability or demand for resource.

Have you considered using the "Proposed" booking type - this can be set for Resources on a Project in the Build Team from Enterprise Dialog Box (CTRL+T) in a project.

Publishing the project does not generate assignments for resources but if you view Resource Availability Graphs from the Resource Centre in PWA you can elect to "include proposed bookings".
