  • Hi berketjun,

If user’s sip address does not match his/her SMTP address (mail address), he/she will be prompted for Exchange credential.

If Lync continues to prompt you for credentials after it has done this several times, there's probably an issue with Outlook or with the Exchange services.

Here’s a similar thread for your reference, you can check if the solution is available for you.

Moreover, it's important thatyou keep your Servers and clients up to date.

  • Hello berketjun,

Eric is right, Lync/SfB will ask exchange credential after you log to get free/busy information to show on Lync/SfB client.

    You may try below:

    1. clean the saved credential from control panel,

    2. delete Lync/SfB client profile.

    3. This may happen if user change his credential and old credential saved in machine.

    Clean up will work.

FYI. There is bug in Skype for Business mobile app which break the exchange integration.

    Hi Eric

The SID ID does not match the email address, so it was changed, however still the message appears....could it take time?

  • Hi berketjun,

    Is there any update ?

To be honest, this is expected behavior, Microsoft Lync prompts you for credentials after you are logged in if it must connect to a linked service such as the Microsoft Exchange Free/Busy service or the Calendar service. But if it continues to prompt you for credentials, there shoud be problems.

In addition, you can try testing on a domain-joined PC.

    Best regards,

    Eric
