  •  Hi,

Do you mean after you install the app, the cmd changes path and can't run.

What is the app name?  What is the error message it pop up?

It is suggested that you uninstalled the networking app, copy the cmd.exe from another working pc and replace it to your pc, which has the same version as yours.

Then perform a clean boot and open cmd.exe as administrator to run sfc /scannow to fix the corrupted system files.

  • Hi,

As I known, if you run cmd as administrator, the default path is: C:\Window\system32>

If you run the cmd as a standard user, the default path is:C:\User\MyPC>

So make sure that if you are running cmd as administrator.
