How to make the section break work RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to built a 3 chapters document. To this document, I want to add a title page and a table of content. But, It seems I can't remove the header of both these pages, even if I've seperated them by section. If I remove or change anything in my first 2 pages (seperate by section), all the document modified with it.

How I'm suppose to do this?

I've succefully insert a section break in chapter 3 (I had to insert a section break continuous and section break next page to make it works), wich allow me to modified the header only for this section, but it doesn't seem to work for the other chapter.

  • Before you can delete a single header, you must unlink it. Activate the header/footer area, for example by double-clicking the header. Click to deselect the “Link to Previous” option.
Note that if you have multiple headers (and footers) each type must be separate unlinked from its “neighbor” in the preceding section. For more, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm.
