Migrated user account, now cannot edit Project Web App Site RRS feed

  • Question

  • My user account was migrated from one forest to another using ADMT, keeping SID History.  stsadm -o migrateuser was performed.  It looks like this migration process did not correct the Administrator Account as it is listed in the Edit Project Web App Site via Central Admin.  If I try to correct it, I'm unable to because the Project Web App Path is blank.  It throws an error stating:

The Project Web App path cannot be empty. Please enter a Project Web App path

However, those controls are disabled so I can't modify them.

I was thinking of attempting to use Set-SPProjectWebInstance in order to attempt to update the Administrator Account, but you have to also specify all of the associated databases.  Will that have any negative effect on the Project Web App databases if I run the command, or am I likely to also encounter the same error?

  • Tried it out, and the command does update everything (given you input the same database names, database server names, and of course the existing PWA URL).
