Third party Patching issue.-DELL Bios,drivers RRS feed

  • Hello Team,

    Want to push the Dell bios updates through the SCCM.

    All Setting are seems to be fine.
    enabled all setting on to download the Third party dell updates.

    SOFTWARE UPDATES POINTS IS CONFIGURED TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATES FROM DELL.

    Dell catalog are synced successfully

    Dell updates are showing syncing in the SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT.LOG & WSYNCMGR.LOG files

    however the same updates are not available in the ALL SOFTWARE UPDATES.
    ran the software sync multiple times but no luck.

    Please help me to sort it out

  • Issue is resolved.

    Issue was with the require Classification was not selected on the Software Update Points (UPDATES & TOOLS) after selecting this.
    Dell updates are available in the Software updates.

    Based on your scenario, we can view status message in the SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT.log for more details, here is a status message table. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/sum/deploy-use/third-party-software-updates#status-messages

    In addition, please kindly check WSYNCMGR.LOG to see if the synchronization for Dell updates was successful.

  • As i said no issue showing in log files

    updates are showing syncing in these log files.
