Help me to figure out, where I can find build team resources detail in database table’s w.r.t project. RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I am creating a SSRS report at project level, where i only have to show those projects on which logon user have access. my challenge that I an unable to find table in database, which holds build team information. 

    Project Server version :- 2013

  • Hi Nitin,

    You can not fetch Project Resource(s) data from MSPS database unless resource is assigned to the task(s) because once resource is assigned to the task,entry is made in MSP_EPMAssignment and MSP_EPMAssignmentByDay and its easy to run a query to find the relevant data.

    In your case ,you are looking to find the projects where login user is just involved(means part of the project team but not necessarily assigned to task) and it is not possible by querying database.You need to use PSI for it.You can easily find the ProjectResource table in project dataset and then use ReadProjectEntities and Project EntityType  to read the resources.
