  • dear all,

    I use outlook 2007 (outlook anywhere ) and exchange 2010. when I close and restart the outlook 2007, the cache of email address disappeard.

    How to fix the problem?

  • Does this happen with all user on different PC or with the same user on a different PC?

    Try to narrow down the issue to a client or PC.

  • When you say the "cache of email addresses" do you mean the e-mail addresses that you have used previously and that show up when you start to type a name in the To or Cc fields? 

    Those are stored in the user's roaming profile in a file with the extension NK2.  Take a look at this KB for a bit more information.

  • hi,

    I also think you are talking about the NK2. After you restart your outlook, and manually enter a mail address to send a mail, if you send a mail to the address again. Can you see the cache? 

    If we are wrong.

  • Seems like something is clearing out the N2K file, do you use any GPO/Script which deletes the profile or in particular that file?

    After you logoff OLK, see if that N2K still exists or not?
