  • Hi All

Problem: PPS data source connection stopped working with following error after SSAS cube (metada data - only one calculated column) update. I can create another connection on the same cube and it works. Editing the problem connection and the test connection gives following error.

    Test Connection: Error test
"Dashboard Designer could not connect to the specified data source. Verify that either the current user or Unattended Service Account has read permissions to the data source, depending on your security configuration. Also verify that all required connection information is provided and correct."

    Windows Server 2012

    SharePoint 2013
    PerformancePoint

Help with the problem and is there anyway i can create a new connection and replace the ID with in the xml file of the problem connection to trick it to work ?

    Regards

  • Looks like its resolved.

Resolution: In Data Source -> Editor -> Connection Settings -> Cube Property
For some reason the cube property was reset to the SSAS Solution name (instead of Cube name)
