Project server Migration 2007 to 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI all,

We are migrating our current Project server 2007 to Project Server 2010.

We did database attach method with content database (5 db's)

When Provisioning the PWA instance, it runs for about 30 minutes, and then ...failed...see event log.

The problem is the ProjectServer_Archived database.

Here is the error log I get from Project server.

After that I paste the log I get in the System log enrties regarding this provisioning.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thx

  • Hi,

The message above mentioned a SQL Fatal Error 824 indicates some form of database corruption according to http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic366410-338-1.aspx. Did anything happen to the SQL Server whilst it was processing the archive DB? Is the error reproducable? Have you tried restoring the PS databases once again, and retrying the site provisioning?
